Del. 4.4.3 – Second info day for students of the Secondary Municipal School,,St.Kiril and Metodij” -Negotino

The Secondary School St.Kiril and Metodij – Negotino in collaboration with the Municipality of Negotino and the organizer of the event ADVISENT DOOEL  Skopje has organize the Second info day on a topic Promotion of “Energy efficient school SMS St. “Kiril and Metodij” Negotino “

The event was held on 13.09.2019 in the lobby of SMS St. Kiril and Metodij – Negotino from 11:30 to 13:00 local time. A 30 min parade of students from school center until Municipality building followed the event.

Welcoming speech had the principal of the school Mr. Dragan Vasilev, sharing the satisfaction for the improvement of the conditions in the school for the first time in 25 years since the school started to work. This infrastructure project was funded in the pframework of the project “enpol-ee”.

The Mayor of the Municipality of Negotino Mr. Toni Delkov expressed the pleasure  of successfully completed works that were intensively implemented during the summer period, interventions that contributed to significantly improving of the conditions in the educational process for current and future generations of students in the main school building as well as in the school sport gym, which besides the students is used by numerous sports teams and recreation, improving also the conditions for sports and recreation in order to create conditions with a healthy body and a healthy spirit.

The Project Manager Ms. Cvetanka Ristova presents in details all the works that has been done during the summer period in which 92 existing windows were replaced with new energy-efficient windows, solar panels were installed and connected with 5 new water heaters.

During the event volunteers from school students distribute EE badges and held a parade from the school to the city park.

The project “Energy efficiency in the cross-border area as an indicative factor for the environmental policy” with an acronym “Enpol-EE” is being realized in the partnership cooperation of the SМS “St. Kiril and Metodij Negotino, Municipality of Negotino, Municipality of Pella and Public enterprise for culture and development of Pela-Republic of Greece.
